The music of this concert belongs to the last creative period of the author and should flow into the Mysterium, the work of palingenesis and cosmic regeneration. The poems, written in 1914, a year before his death, belong preparatory Act, a sort of prelude to the Mysterium and pages are pervaded by a yearning for the transcendent and heavenly.
